I found a surprise!

To correct my previous post, I actually have $276, not $176 like I'd originally thought, towards my first goal of $1,000 in savings. I found an extra hundred tucked away. 


So, Wednesday will be our first partial child support check. He's paying partial while we remain on the property and then it goes to full. I'm really, really hoping to work this week and I'm really, really hoping to pick up a couple more jobs and I'm really, really hoping to keep my earnings goal each day. I may actually have to double the goal since I keep exceeding the original daily goal anyway. I hope I can. That's a lot of hoping. 


Another thing I had hoped for was a gift for myself. I don't do this often, but I fell in love with a frame set before Christmas. It was the day he started us on this journey. The price was too high at the time but I felt the saying was so true for my little family. I didn't realize that my little family was about to become smaller, but that saying has stayed on my mind and today, well, I found it at 50% off. It was the last one and I already had the money set back to buy it at full price.  


I've decided not to display it until Bunny & I have our own place. Ignore the trunk light, I'm keeping it in the car for safe keeping. It will look lovely on my new wall.
