I must admit this came as a surprise, though it shouldn't, it did. I spent hours this morning figuring out the perfect schedule to fairly share custody of our child, only to find that he does not want a schedule.
Given her age, I cannot determine how this is going to go over with her. She's already angry with him. Knowing he just wants to "see her sometime each year" might not go over too well with her. It surely wouldn't with me.
My daddy would have tread through boiling lava to see his kids. Unbelievable.
On the plus side, he's not fighting me about anything, and given I receive a miracle, Bunny & I will have a very nice apartment, come this July.
How sad that he feels this way!
ReplyDeleteI know, but he never really wanted her. He said with work,school,cooking,cleaning, and laundry, he just wouldn't have much time to be her daddy. I asked about him taking her out of state and he told me that "no offense but his vacations are HIS vacations and he takes them alone"......Sigh....... It is what it is.
